What is Reiki

The word "Reiki" is a Japanese word, meaning

“Universal Life Force”.

It comes from two words. "Rei and Ki". Reiki is not a Religion.

Rei, meaning “Universal”. A deeper Spiritual meaning of the word Rei is “Higher Knowledge or Spiritual Consciousness”. It is the wisdom that comes from God, or the Higher Self, and is the God-Consciousness, which is All-Knowing.

Ki, is “Life Energy” or “Vital Life Force” or “Universal Life Force”. The word Ki means the same as Chi in Chinese, Prana in Sanskrit, Ti or Ki in Hawaiian and Ase in Yoruba. This is the non-physical energy that emanates from all living things. Ki is also the primary energy of our emotions, thoughts and Spiritual life.

Everyone is born with Reiki. Every one, who chooses, can learn Reiki.

It is the energy of Life itself. It is the energy that travels through the Chakras of a Reiki Practitioner and then emanates from the hands to an individual. It is the “White Light” energy which is a transforming energy on all levels of a persons “being-ness”. Reiki is a Universal Truth. It is simple and direct and can be done at any time or place and requires no equipment. Only your "HANDS".

The “Usui System of Natural Healing” is named after Dr. Mikao Usui, who rediscovered the system when studying the Sacred Sutras in the late 1800’s.

The Usui Ryoho System is a healing art that utilizes this Universal Life Energy power by channeling it through our bodies for storage in the solar plexus and into the "dis-eased" individual for rebalancing through “laying on of hands.” The system is available to all who seek freedom from pain and suffering, physical & emotional.

This technique is also used for stress reduction, and relaxation that results in a persons healing.

What is a Reiki Treatment?

Reiki Treatment is designed to give a person a session to clear and balance your Chakras by transferring Light/Energy through the hands to the person. This is mostly done with the person on a massage Table, but can also be performed while the person sits in a chair. The Practitioner may touch to transfer the Life Force Energy of simple hold their hands a few inches above the person's Chakras to transfer the Life Force Energy. The person/client chooses the method according to their comfort level with being touched. In our sessions, the students are trained to cover the person/client with a cloth and that gives them a level of comfort. With the hands held over a person the Reiki Practitioner will scan the body for blockages and stagnant energy. This blockage or stagnation will then be given an influx of the Life Force energy, which is Light. Energy is the Life Force and the Life Force is Energy and they are both "Light".

So, "LET THERE BE LIGHT". Blockages are also sometimes pulled out of the chakras when needed. We also often get intuitive messages to share with the person. This can happen due to our connection with their energy field and our empathic sensitivity.

What is a "Reiki Attunement", you ask, and Why do you need one???

The "Reiki Attunement" process is how one becomes a Reiki Pracitioner. Being attuned to Reiki gives one the ability to easily access the Reiki energy, (Universal Life Force) for the purpose of healing a person or self. Attunements can be given only by a Reiki Master-Teacher, in person, "Hands On", and can be given for either the purpose of training one as a Reiki Practitioner, or for simply giving someone a larger experience of Reiki than usually experienced in treatments. It is the choice of each student to use this awesome gift for the Healing of Self or for Healing others also. It's about YOUR journey !!!!

The Attunement procedure is a ceremony of spirit. This ceremony creates an energy pattern around the recipient of the Attunement which entrains (or attunes) their energy field to the energies represented. The Attunement is permanent, thus making the recipient a Reiki Practitioner for life. Whether you use it or not.

This procedure opens the crown and all other chakras and thereby opening a channel between the students own energy channels and the Reiki "Source".

Soooooo, what do you get in a Reiki Attunement???

Reiki Attunement Classes consists of the following;

Reiki Practitioner Training consists of four (4) Levels.

Each class is from 9 AM - 6 PM on Day One. (Usually Saturdays)

Day 2 (Sunday) 9 AM - 1 PM

Level 1; Beginners; Opens your Crown Chakra 20% to channel more

Reiki Energy and begin your grounding, balancing and

clearing your chakras.

Level 2; Opens your Crown Chakra 20% more, so now you have

40% increase in the Reiki Energy Flow. You also receive

3 Reiki Symbols that increase the Flow and Power of Reiki.

* Prerequisite; Reiki Level 1 Attunement and attendance at 6-8 Reiki Circle Classes.

Level 3; (Reiki Master) Again, your Crown Chakra is opened

20% more and you'll now have a 60% increase of Energy Flow

and you receive the Reiki "Master" Symbol.

* Prerequisite; Reiki Level 1 & 2 Attunement and attendance at 6-8 Reiki Circle Classes.

Level 4; (Reiki Master-Teacher) This Level is for those students

who wish to "Pass Attunements" (Perform Attunements to

others) and Teach Reiki. The Crown Chakra is opened

another 20%, giving you 80% increase in Reiki Energy

and the last Reiki Symbol is taught along with how to

Pass Attunements and attendance at 10 Reiki Circle Classes.

* Prerequisite; Reiki Level 1, 2 & 3 Attunements

Reiki Apprenticeship Program;

This Advanced Master Teacher Training is only available for Reiki Master Teachers. Requirements;

1. Students must have documented 10 Reiki Treatments they have performed,

2. Must have performed at least one Reiki Attunement for each level,

3. Prepare & conduct a minimum of 2 "Introduction To Reiki Workshops" or presentations to a group,

4. Pass the written test.

5. In addition, they must also have had a minimum of 2 Private Reiki Sessions with the Senior Reiki Master Teacher Instructor.
